Individual Therapy

In our individual therapy sessions, I’m here to support you in navigating challenges that impact your self-esteem and self-worth, whether you're coping with a difficult breakup, feeling like the “strong friend,” or addressing unresolved childhood trauma. Together, we’ll use evidence-based approaches to build your self-awareness, foster self-acceptance, and promote meaningful change, empowering you to embrace your true self and cultivate a life filled with hope, resilience, and confidence.

Child Therapy

In child therapy sessions, I focus on helping children enhance their communication skills, which can lead to decreased behavioral reactions and emotional distress. I employ a variety of therapeutic approaches that promote strengths awareness and foster self-identity. A key component of my work is play therapy, which serves as an effective tool for building rapport, trust, and connection. Through play, children become more receptive to their environment and can engage in emotional expression more freely, facilitating a deeper therapeutic process.

Family Therapy

In family therapy, I work with parents and children to foster connectedness and mutual respect by addressing behavioral challenges and examining parental responses that contribute to strain and miscommunication. Through open, honest, and direct conversations, I guide families in developing effective communication strategies and learning to appreciate each member's unique characteristics. This collaborative approach aims to break the unhealthy cycles of emotional neglect, invalidation, and disconnection, ultimately promoting a healthier family dynamic.

Treatment Modalities

  • Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), we work together to identify and address the thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to low self-esteem and self-worth. Our goal is to cultivate a more positive self-image and enhance overall self-worth

  • This technique recognizes that we all have experiences that can leave lasting wounds. Utilizing a Trauma-Informed Approach, I create a safe, trusting, and empowering environment to support your healing and growth.

  • I assist fellow believers in navigating life’s experiences and challenges by integrating spiritual principles and wisdom. My focus is on fostering spiritual insight and soundness as essential tools for enhancing mental and emotional well-being.

  • Utilizing Play Therapy helps to facilitate the therapeutic alliance with children. This approach not only establishes rapport but also provides an effective framework for teaching essential skills in emotional regulation and self-awareness. The goal is to enhance communication, foster a strong sense of self-identity, and develop emotional intelligence.
